Rotab Dates from Bam, Iran are soft and sweet and arguably the best dates in the world. Mazafati dates are darker in color and sweeter in taste compared to Medjul dates. Rutab dates are referred to as Mazafati khorma in Iran and dried to the perfect consistency. These dates are packed tightly in cardboard box that holds 500 grams of fruit that can be stored up to 1 year in the freezer.

Rotab Dates are soft and sweet and arguably the best dates in the world. Grown in Bam, these dates are dark amber to black in color and sweeter in taste compared to Medjul dates. The Rutabs tend to become darker in color as they age. The fresher they are the lighter they are in color. Bam is a UN recognized historic area in Iran that is world famous for two things, the ancient city and their Rotab dates. Rutab dates are refereed to as Mazafati khorma in Iran. Our dates are packed tightly in clear pack and can be stored up to six months in the fridge and even longer in the freezer if you can resist eating them!!!
