Do you ship to my area?
Persian Basket ships within the USA including Alaska/Hawaii and Canada. FedEx DOES NOT ship to P.O. Boxes or FPO/APO/DPO addresses. We do ship our non perishable products internationally. Speedy DHL international shipments are also available upon email or phone requests.
What shipping companies do you use?
Persian Basket uses FedEx, USPS and DHL depending on the products being ordered and on the shipping zip code. We take great care in packaging your goods with each package being fully insured.
What if a product I like to order is marked as "Out of Stock"?
Many of our popular items, seasonal items (i.e. sour cherry:"Albaloo", sour plums: "Gojeh Sabz"), fresh produce as well as imported items become in and out of stock frequently or they are available only once a year and for a limited period of time (in case of seasonal fresh produce). There is a small alarm clock icon next to the price of any "Out of Stock" item on our site. You may want to click on the icon and follow prompts to enter your email address into our system. The system will then notify you automatically via email as soon as the product in question becomes restocked on our site. You can always reach us at email@example.com with any specific questions and requests.
I would like to order refrigerated products i.e. Lebne, cheese, fresh produce, ready to eat meals etc. Can you ship refrigerated products?
Refrigerated Products are shipped within temperature controlled foam or foil boxes containing industrial gel ice blocks. Our normal transit times are 2-3 business days and your product should arrive being kept cool during transit. If you would like expedited delivery on your package (i.e. guaranteed second day or overnight delivery), please choose the desired expedited shipping method in the "Shipping Method" section of our one step check out page .
How does your ground shipping work?
Persian Basket offers ground shipping on all orders within the United States and Canada. Our normal transit times with this service are 2-3 business days for orders shipped within USA and 5-8 business days for orders shipped to Canada. USPS and FedEx do not guarantee delivery dates/times for the ground services. If you would like expedited or guaranteed delivery date on your package (i.e. second day or overnight delivery), please choose the desired expedited shipping method in the "Shipping Method" section of our one step check out page .
Do you offer speedy shipping?
Any orders placed before 2:30 pm eastern standard time will be shipped out the same day. Order placed after 2:30 pm eastern standard time will be shipped out the next business day. All overnight delivery request must be submitted before 4:00 pm Eastern Standard Time in order for your order to be shipped out same day. Any "overnight" and "Second Day" order placed on Fridays will be processed the following business day. Please be mindful that no "Second Day" and "Overnight" order moves forward by UPS/USPS/FedEx during weekends. Please call /email us if you have any specific questions or if you need any further clarifications before placing your order to avoid misunderstandings. What are your "shipment exceptions"?
Our ready to eat meals (RTEM) are shipped out only on Mondays/Tuesdays/Wednesdays. RTEM orders shipped out of our shipping hub on any given shipping day are the orders that have been batched prior to midnight on the night prior. For example a RTEM order placed on Tuesday at 11:30 pm will be prepared and shipped out on Wednesday but a RTEM order placed on Wednesday at 9am will be prepared and shipped out on following Monday. We do not ship our RTEM to some western states at this time. Please refer to RTEM page for complete list of these few states. We ship our fresh Barbari breads on Tuesdays/Wednesdays, our fresh Taftoon bread on Mondays/Tuesdays/Wednesdays, our fresh Sangak bread on Mondays/Tuesdays/Wednesdays. We do not ship orders containing perishable products passed Thursdays to avoid unnecessary weekend overlays of the your shipping box in the post office and possible weekend delivery issues which both may damage your perishable products. We would process these orders on following Monday to assure safe arrival of your perishable goods.
How does your Ready To Eat Meal (RTEM) service work?
Persian Basket is proud to be offering our very own fresh Iranian Ready to Eat Meals being shipped throughout the USA. This service is the very first of its kind in the country. Our meals are prepared at our brand new industrial kitchen of Persian Basket Kitchen & Bar (expansion project of December 2019) located in Atlanta: Johns Creek, Ga. All of our Ready to Eat Meals are prepared by maestro chef Payman Rostami. Each meal is prepared using only fresh meat, herbs and produce sourced from local farms and never frozen prior to shipping. Meals are served in microwave/oven/freezer safe dishes that are disposable, recyclable, and BPA FREE. Meals are shipped in temperature controlled foam lined heavy duty packaging accompanied with industrial ice to preserve their freshness.These meals are shipped out Monday - Wednesday. Meals ordered on Wednesday - Sunday will be shipped on the following Monday to guarantee freshness and to avoid possible delivery conflicts over the weekends . Meals ordered Sunday through Tuesday midnight are shipped the following day. Our menus rotate between the four available menus on a weekly basis. Each new menu gets activated on a consecutive rotating basis and on Wednesdays at 6:30 am eastern standard time. We offer complimentary free shipping for our RTEM orders if they include seven or more meals. If your order includes meals and grocery items, it will be eligible for free shipping only if you have seven or more meals in addition to 60.00 dollars or more worth of grocery items.
Do you offer free shipping?
We currently are offering promotional free domestic shipping for three types of orders: 1) orders containing seven or more ready to eat meals (RTEM), 2) orders containing 60.00 and more worth of grocery items, 3) orders containing seven or more RTEM as well as 60.00 and more worth of grocery items. These promotions can not be combined. Meaning if your order contains 7 meals and grocery items costing less than $60.00, our system will give you free shipping for the meals but will charge you shipping for the grocery items.
How do I contact you in case I have a question or need help?
At Persian Basket our goal is to make your shopping experience a pleasure for you. So we try to remain accessible through many different modes of communication. We answer phone calls Mondays through Thursdays 9:00am to 5:00pm. You can leave us voice mails as/if needed. Calls are returned with in 24hrs and on the following business day/hours. How do I track my package?
Our system generates an automated shipping confirmation email upon shipment of your package from our shipping hub. This email will contain a hyperlinked tracking number that can be used to track your package until it arrives. In the case of boxes containing perishable items we send you string tracking data via either your email or your mobile number (in the form of a text). Please do not hesitate to contact us via our email address (email@example.com) in case you still have tracking related questions or need help.
What if I received a damaged product?
At Persian Basket we strive to be the best Persian and Middle Eastern online grocery store. All packages are fully insured and you will never be responsible for damaged products. Please call us within 24 hours of receiving your goods so we can address your concern as needed. We take great pride in our goods and use the best packaging materials to ensure you receive your goods in great condition.
What if the tracking status of my package shows "delivered" but I do not receive any packages?
We ask you to please contact us immediately. Both USPS and FedEx have GPS tracking of their trucks to confirm the delivery at your shipping address. In the rare case of possible issues, your packages are fully insured and the cost for products can be recovered upon you submitting claims with the postal service. We will be available through the process for any needed support/documentation.
What is your return policy?
We want to hear from you! If you are not satisfied with your purchase you can return it for a full refund. All we ask is that the item is in its original condition. In many cases we may even pay for the shipping of the product back to us depending on the circumstances. Because we are dealing with perishable products, we require that you call us within 24 hours of receiving your product if you are not satisfied. Whether you want a refund, credit or discount we will do our very best to make sure you are satisfied. If a refund is issued to your credit card, please note that it may take up to 3-6 business days for this refund to be reflected on your account.
