Grind whole nutmeg to add to baked goods such as the Persian Love Cake or to top drinks such as hot chocolate or eggnog. Whole nutmeg has a more intense flavor than ground nutmeg and is generally substituted at 1/3 the amount of ground nutmeg a receipe calls for.
